Adventures in Little Tibet

By Daniel

First of all, my apologies for the radio silence. It took me a while to write this blog since I spent the last weeks off-the-grid in the Himalayas. An unbelievable experience! The start of my Himalayan adventures was in Ladakh, also known as ‘Little Tibet’, in the state of Jammu & Kashmir in Northern India. Amazing high altitude landscapes, beautiful and very distinctive people and Buddhist Monasteries to be found on the most breathtaking (literally, due to the altitude) and hard-to-reach places. Yes, Ladakh really has a lot to offer for the adventurers amongst us.

During my Ladakh adventure, I spent a couple of days in Leh to get used to the altitude. After that, I ventured on a unforgettable road trip of a couple of days, deeper into the unknown while I shared a car with an Italian and two Vietnamese. We drove the Khardung La pass, the highest motorable road in the world at 5359 meters, towards the beautiful Nubra Valley and Pangong Tso, one of the world’s highest lakes at 4350 meters. As you know by now, I like to keep the words to a minimum and let the photos speak. Please enjoy and let me know what you think!

It’s beautiful captured scenaries, views, and stories all in one… Like what I said before on the Instagram… Some of them feels like Déjà vu to me at least :))) it’s like looking through the lens of somebody else and keep following and seeing new things every time.. well done! Love the faces of the people in Ladakh and Leh, and the monastery. My favourite ones are the Reflections and the lake at Pangong Tso :))
