On the foot of Kilimanjaro

On the foot of Kilimanjaro

The last weeks of the Raw Happiness expedition I spent in and around Moshi, a small city on the foot of the famous Kilimanjaro mountain, the top of Africa. I am sure I will never forget these weeks because I made some new lifelong friends: Johnson and Frank. These friendly locals showed me around their beloved hometown and took me with them to experience a couple of days in their daily work. And what a cool job they have! They are working on community projects for small off-the-grid villages around Moshi that range from agricultural projects, to education, solar power and supporting local entrepreneurs. During these days we took offroad bikes to visit their hard to reach villages, they showed me their projects, and introduced me to some amazing people. I met local Maasai farmers, school teachers, factory workers and cheerful kids. Definitely something I will never forget. Enjoy the photos!
