Rishikesh and Udaipur are two places that really don’t have a lot in common besides that they are both in India but put them together, and they make up a perfect mix. Rishikesh, a mountain village on the foot of the Himalayas and dubbed the Yoga capital of the world has a lot to offer, especially if you are into yoga (which I am unfortunately not, partly due to me being the most inflexible human being alive). For the non-yogis (like myself) Rishikesh is still worth a visit for its natural beauty, chilled vibes and the many spiritual pilgrims that it attracts. Udaipur, is a city with a lot of history and Rajasthan culture, which is visible on every street corner. Beautiful palaces and architecture, and people with a very distinctive beautiful looks and much more peaceful than the bigger cities in India, which is a very welcome change. Again, I tried to capture all of this with my camera. Below you will find my interpretation of these two amazing places. Let me know what you think in the comment section! 🙂
