Rishikesh and Udaipur

By Daniel

Rishikesh and Udaipur are two places that really don’t have a lot in common besides that they are both in India but put them together, and they make up a perfect mix. Rishikesh, a mountain village on the foot of the Himalayas and dubbed the Yoga capital of the world has a lot to offer, especially if you are into yoga (which I am unfortunately not, partly due to me being the most inflexible human being alive). For the non-yogis (like myself) Rishikesh is still worth a visit for its natural beauty, chilled vibes and the many spiritual pilgrims that it attracts. Udaipur, is a city with a lot of history and Rajasthan culture, which is visible on every street corner. Beautiful palaces and architecture, and people with a very distinctive beautiful looks and much more peaceful than the bigger cities in India, which is a very welcome change. Again, I tried to capture all of this with my camera. Below you will find my interpretation of these two amazing places. Let me know what you think in the comment section! πŸ™‚

Amazing. India is truly colourful with its culture and vibes. I’m an inhabitant of India, never been to Udaipur. Now eagerly waiting to see it all by myself. Thanks for sharing these intriguing photos of Udaipur & Rishikesh.

    Love & Peace

As an Indian I am really thankful to you for such a beautiful description of our land. And, I am really proud as well that we Indians were able to give you such a good time in India. I have visited these cities before but while reading your blogs, even for once, it didn’t cross my mind that I have been there before. It all was so fresh and has a very different perspective. I wish you get to see every corner of this world and keep inspiring more and more people to travel and chase happiness.
Daniel, I wish you all the very best for your future endeavors. More power to you!
